ROLE

Rhodes is a premier arts venue offering theatre, an accredited museum and conferencing.  Working in a small dynamic marketing team you will support and assist with marketing activities across all areas of the business. You will work with the Operations Director, and Artistic Producer to market the Arts venue to its full potential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To oversee the distribution of printed promotional material.

To keep the website and social media (including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) content up-to-date.

To produce a monthly report on statistics relating to social media.

Write and edit content for the website, social media and printed material.

Create marketing campaigns i.e. e-shots using Mail Chimp and report the results in a manner which assists decision making using tools such as Google analytics.

Monitoring daily sales against activity and input on marketing systems.

To monitor audience/visitors feedback to maximise box office revenue and engage with communities.

To assist with all elements of marketing activity including, but not limited to, advertising, direct mail, print distribution, emails and promotions.

Liaise with local press and other media sources with the promotion of Rhodes events and activities.

To ensure promotional material including digital publicity is kept up to date in the Rhodes venue.

To assist the Artistic Producer in the administration of invoices and contracts relating to both live performances and cinema screenings.

To have a good working knowledge of Ticketsolve Ticketing Systems.

To ensure performances and live screenings are installed on Ticketsolve Systems and notify all staff.

To coordinate schools bookings.

To carry out other tasks as requested from time to time.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION AND SKILLS

Experience / marketing background.

Experience in social media applications and practices.

A good knowledge of the latest trends and internet practices and keenness to learn new skills.

Excellent IT skills and competence in CMS, Google Analytics, Photoshop, Publisher, Mail Chimp and Access.  Experience of working with TicketSolve would be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail, good grammar and the ability to proof read effectively.

Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

A good understanding of social media.

A creative eye and ability to use graphic design and editor programmes.   Experience in Photoshop and InDesign will be an advantage

A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Clean driving license.
