Each area within “the Mill” is accessible for people using wheelchairs. We have a lift for access to the first floor balcony, meeting rooms and Bishop’s Stortford Museum. Customers who require particular seating arrangements in order to accommodate their specific requirements should contact the Box Office. There are two wheel chair positions within the main auditorium,if you require one of these please advise the Box Office Staff.

Toilets

We have two disabled toilets, located on the ground floor near the main stairs and on the first floor near the Cedar Room. All our toilets have emergency call systems installed to provide our customers reassurance. Each toilet allows for individuals with right hand and left-handed impairments.

Parking

We have limited free on-site parking with two dedicated spaces for drivers with disabilities, during busy periods we advise customers to arrive early to ensure a space as the car park does fill up quickly.

Hearing

An Induction Loop system is installed in the auditorium.  If you wish to use the facility you should switch your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position.
