This year South Mill Arts brings Jack and the Beanstalk to the stage.
From the director and writer behind 2019’s Sleeping Beauty, comes this giant of a story!
Join Jack as he makes his way up the beanstalk on his high-flying, magical journey and see what ginormous adventures await him.
You can expect the very best toe-tapping tunes, fabulous costumes and hilarious cast of characters to entertain you in this timeless classic.
The cast of seven professionals will be supported by an ensemble of young local talent to present this Christmas extravaganza, live on stage.
Writer and director, Ian McFarlane who has previously directed some of the largest pantos in London and around the UK says he is “so excited to be returning to South Mill Arts this Christmas!”.
“This year’s panto is set to be bigger than ever and I can’t wait for Stortford to see what we have in store. We’ve got all the panto elements – songs, dancing, loads of audience participation and of course the most fabulous dame! I’m really looking forward to hearing the children getting involved again, when you see your audience screaming and shouting one moment and absolutely enthralled in the adventure the next that’s just magic. There really is nothing like panto”
Paula Holland, Operations Director of South Mill Arts said “It is important for us at South Mill Arts to make Christmas extra special and to give families something they can enjoy together and this year’s show will be no exception. Jack and the Beanstalk is set to be a truly enchanting experience and will be sure to create everlasting memories”.
