Calling all artists!
We are launching an exciting callout for local artists to enter their work for the chance to be awarded a period of free display space during our 2025 ArtSpace Programme.
To undergo the application and selection process, please send your completed application form to museum@southmillarts.co.uk along with a minimum of three photographed examples of work which best represent the work you intend to exhibit in the ArtSpace. Our panel of judges will blindly judge the artwork submitted and selections will be made from the shortlisted entries.
The deadline for applications is Friday 24th January 2025.
Submissions for the ArtSpace can be entered by any artist who was born, studied, currently resides or is working in Bishop’s Stortford or the surrounding area. We welcome submissions from professional artists and those who create artwork purely for enjoyment. All forms of media are welcome, including both 2D and 3D works (subject to space and health and safety requirements).

Our panel of judges and Alex Andrijevic (Heritage and Museum Manager) will blindly judge the selection of work submitted. The Heritage and Museum Manager will make the final selection and has the right to refuse to display work at her discretion. No personal feedback will be provided.
Judging: week commencing 27th January 2025.
