STANDING PILATES (Mixed abilities)
Pilates helps to strengthen your deep core muscles (your “powerhouse”) and improves your posture through the elimination of muscle imbalance. It can also help to ease back pain by mobilising the spine and stabilising your pelvis. The exercises are easy on your joints and also target other areas of the body such as shoulders, hips and knees. Additionally, Pilates helps improve coordination and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
This class is standing only with standing variations of classic floor exercises so you don’t miss anything!
Suggested clothing/equipment: fitness attire, exercise band (roughly 2m) or a belt.
Please bring your own mat to stand on.
