Free Activities this Autumn Half Term

Are you looking for something to do this October Half term?  Why not pop into the museum for some free children’s craft activities? We are open to all the community and there is no need to book tickets, simply drop in and enjoy yourself!

Starting things off is ‘We’re on the move’ on the 25th and 26th October – Free drop in anytime between 10am and 2pm.

Make a paper aeroplane and launcher, colour a canal art plate and create your own 1795 river token. Try out our new transport rubbings table and learn how changes in travel have shaped our history.

Then join us for some spooky Halloween activities on 29th October – Free drop-in anytime between 10am & 2pm

Make some Halloween decorations and find the spiders in the museum. We’ll also be telling a witchy story with colouring activity at 10am, 11am and 12pm for the under 5’s.

We can’t wait to see you!
