We have just been donated a copy of Sounds of Sawbridgeworth, a CD featuring music performed by local schools, choirs, community groups, local musicians and the bells of Gt St Mary’s church. The recording was paid for by the Sawbridgeworth and District Rotary Club and was created as part of the Millennium celebrations.  The recording opens with the bells of Gt St Mary’s church as they rang at midnoght on the 31st December 1999 with the remaining tracks being recorded in and around Sawbridgeworth in early 2000.
