Your Visit
Coming to see a show?
If you are coming to a show, we do advise arriving at least 20 minutes before the start of the event, as we can’t guarantee we will be able to seat you once the event has started.
While you wait for the event to begin you can enjoy a drink in our Maltings Bar and for shows with an interval, don’t forget to pre-order any interval drinks before the start of the show.
Parking
Please note there is limited parking
South Mill Arts has limited parking on-site which is free to our customers. If you use the car park, you will need to enter your car registration at reception. This is to prevent parking by people not using the venue, who will receive a fine.
Our car park can fill up quickly on show days and during the week.

A short walk away from the venue through Millars Maltings.

Please note that South Mill Arts and the Bishop's Stortford Museum will be closed on: Friday 3rd April (Good Friday), open from 9am - 12pm on Saturday 4th April, and closed on Sunday 5th April (Easter Sunday)

Maltings Bar & General Admissions

WheelChairs
Each area within South Mill Arts is accessible for people using wheelchairs. We have a lift for access to the first floor balcony, meeting rooms and Bishop’s Stortford Museum. Customers who require particular seating arrangements in order to accommodate their specific requirements should contact the Box Office. There are two wheel chair positions within the main auditorium,if you require one of these please advise the Box Office Staff
Toilets
We have two disabled toilets, located on the ground floor near the main stairs and on the first floor near the Cedar Room. All our toilets have emergency call systems installed to provide our customers reassurance. Each toilet allows for individuals with right hand and left-handed impairments.
