Our meeting on the 14th
July at South Mill Arts at 10.40 a.m. with coffee from 10 a.m. is by Dan Evans
on Cabbages, Carrots and Lamb. Spanish Still Life from 1600-1812.In this lecture paintings by Goya, Velazquez,
Zurbarán and Melendez are used to explore stunning themes such as religious
fervour and the symbolism that can be discerned from the arrangements of simple
food stuffs
Come
and be entertained, amazed and enlightened. Visitors are very welcome for which we invite a donation of £7.If coming by car please register the car
