Talk – Slavery and the Sawbridgeworth Connection

Tue 17th Nov | 12.30pm | £5

This event will take place at South Mill Arts

It was not just the major towns of Britain, such as Bristol
and London, which profited from the Slave Trade. Even the small town of Sawbridgeworth was involved. Indeed, the whole population of the town (and beyond) still
unknowingly feels the gains from the misery imposed upon those enslaved black
people.
