Our Relaxed Museum Tour is a free-of-charge package for visitors with additional needs, such as those living with dementia, autism, speech and hearing impairments, low vision, or similar.

Drop in between 11am – 1pm

Visit us along with personal assistants, friends, or family. Museum staff will be there to offer support.

Visitors are welcome to move around the galleries and garden at their leisure – an audio guide will be available. They will be able to handle artefacts from our handling collection and engage with museum staff in a quiet and welcoming museum space.

The Bishop’s Stortford Museum at South Mill Arts features a lift to the first and third floor gallery, and blue badge parking near the front of the building.

Please note that carers and assistants do not need to book a ticket, and all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
