Colourful Cabaret: Pride 2025 at South Mill Arts
To match the beautiful weather, we are starting to see rainbows filling up the homes and businesses in Bishop’s Stortford as we approach the StortPride celebrations.
StortPride 2025 is happening this weekend, and already we can tell it’s going to be an event to remember! Here at South Mill Arts, we are so excited to join in the celebrations with a romping Pride Cabaret.
The cabaret will host exciting performances from Drag King Don One and singer/ rapper Lewis Sycamore, and Headlining Beat boxer Grace Savage. There is sure to be plenty of fun for everyone. The event is on Friday, 25th, and will start at 7:30, featuring 2 hours of glitz and glamour with a 20-minute interval.
The cabaret is built alongside the people at the StortPride Charity who work year round creating incredible events to uplift members of the community. Their celebrations include pop-up shops, open mics, panels, and carnivals throughout the year, with their crowning event being the StortPride weekend itself. With the Pride solidarity walk across Bishop’s Stortford from Castle Park from 9:00-10:00 on the 26th, to pub quiz at the Nags Head and more.
