This week saw the launch of the first Blue Plaques in Bishop’s Stortford. Commemorating the lives and work of notable historical figures in the town, the unveiling welcomed the first three plaques:

– Sir Walter Gilbey

– Mrs Tresham Gilbey

– Francis Barber
